East Africa Deployments - Project Sandman

Sudan is in the midst of a humanitarian emergency as violent conflict ravages communities. Hospitals and clinics have been destroyed or forced to shut down, leaving millions without life-saving medical care. Displaced families are extremely vulnerable to trafficking. Meanwhile, international aid is dwindling, and already strained host communities can barely cope.

We have already entered Sudan and completed two medical field deployments. Across both missions, we treated over 2,600 patients and provided emergency food and clean water to communities with no other support. The needs we encountered ranged from cholera and dehydration to severe burns, infections, and bullet wounds.

Next, we plan to restock supplies (and funding) and head even deeper into areas cut off by conflict for years.
